Today I’m taking a look at the brand spanking new Voopoo Drag E60 pod kit.

VOOPOO Drag E60 Kit is powered by GENE.TT Chip and a built-in 2550mAh battery with Type-C Charging. It has Smart/RBA/ECO Mode to satisfy your different needs and TFT screen to clearly show you vaping information.

Let’s face it. What do you associate Voopoo with the most? Yup – the DRAG. It all began many moons ago with the OG DRAG 157W box mod. I still have mine and admittedly its seen much better days but it’s vaping nostalgia.

Gets me every time!

The DRAG 2 improved on design quality by adding much needed contouring but things took a turn with the DRAG 3.

At the time, pod kits were rapidly becoming all the rage and Voopoo were keen to capitalise. Enter their TPP (tank, pod, push) tank pods and TPP “plug and play” coils.

The rest is history and it’s been a little confusing along the way because there’s also a PNP (Plug ‘N’ Play) range of pods that take, er.. “plug and play” coils of their own.

Moving on swiftly!

The DRAG Q, S and X all employed a tube style design for their battery sections whereas the tiny DRAG Nano went for the more traditional box mod look.

The new DRAG E60 looks to be a combination of both and what’s more it’s sporting a new PNP Pod II and two brand new TW30 PNP coils to boot.

What Can We Expect From the Voopoo DRAG E60 Pod Kit?

At the time of writing, details are bit sketchy so work with me. This has not officially been released by Voopoo yet – so this is a super early bird review! Here’s what I know.

Compared to the DRAG X, the DRAG E60 is much more simplified both in design and use. It’s small, compact and highly portable.

It has a unique ‘basin’ airway structure to gather the airflow smoothly, holding condensate for easier cleaning and maintenance.

The bottom airflow is adjusted by rotating the new PNP pod II within the battery section.

The pod is top filling and the top cap employs an easy quarter turn system for speed of use.

The kit comes with two brand new PNP coils with “Dual in One Tech” designed for a Direct To Lung (DTL) vape.

At the heart of the device lies the GENE.TT 2.0 chipset with an upgraded user interface designed to reduce button presses and to simplify operations.

“Smart” mode sets the best wattage parameters for the installed coil. “RBA” mode allows the user to tinker with the wattage settings from 5 – 60W.

“Eco” mode will help reduce drain on the battery and increase the number of puffs by around 10%. The user is automatically prompted to use Eco mode when the battery charge falls to 40%.

The integrated 2250mAh battery can be supercharged via fast 2 amp type C USB.

Expect 6 built in safety features which include overtime protection, low battery protection and atomizer short circuit protection.

The DRAG E60 is available in 6 colour schemes and these are: Carbon Fiber, Grey, Black, Pink, Golden and Coffee (under review).

The DRAG E60 pod kit comes in an easy to remove slip case. Inside, the device sits in a molded plastic tray.

Battery Section

As you can imagine for its size, the Voopoo DRAG E60 is lightweight. Not bad given there’s a 2550mAh integrated battery lurking within. It feels comfortable when grasped and the leather does much to help, providing some cushioning for the palm.
