Drag Nano 2 Pod Kit

Drag Nano 2 Pod – When you first look at the VooPoo Drag Nano 2, it looks novelty, especially with the chain attached.

But don’t let it’s appearance fool you, it is as good as any other Mouth To Lung pod system.

As the name suggests this isn’t the first of it’s kind, the original Voopoo DRAG Nano was released in 2019.

Back then the DRAG range was a range of high powered box mods, however the range is much different today, consisting of 15 mods (both tube and box), 1 pod system (the Nano) and 3 pod mods.

The Voopoo brand was established in 2016 but it’s parent company has been around since 2010.

Throughout the last 5 years VooPoo has had a huge global success.

A few years ago their DRAG box mods seemed to be the thing to have and they put Voopoo firmly ‘on the map’.

However it arguable that their best year was last year, with the launch of the VooPoo DRAG pod mods and more importantly the PNP range, which VooPoo very quickly expanded on… Alot!

At the time of writing Voopoo’s website boasts that they have sold more than 30Million e-cigs to an audience of 200 countries.

Although I wouldn’t say I am a fan of every VooPoo Product, that certainly have my respect.

What Can We Expect From The VooPoo DRAG Nano 2?

My friend the FlatCap Vaper reviewed the original VooPoo DRAG Nano for EcigClick and gave it a 6.3 out of 10.

I on the other hand thought it was a fairly decent, although not perfect device, however, he did make a lot of important points on how the device could and should be improved.

And they have certainly made improvements.

The original has a really awful and tight filling port and Voopoo has addressed that by giving the DRAG Nano 2 a top fill port…I have got a few complaints about it but it is much better.

The pods are cross compatible with the Vinci Pods (not to be confused with the Vinci pod mod pods). What a tongue twister that turned out to be!

The pods are refillable and have built in coils. There are 2 different pods available for the kit a 0.8ohm and a 1.2ohm pod.

The kit has 3 different power settings, adjustable airflow and 3 lights to indicate the battery level.

There are 3 kits available: Standard, US and TPD. All of the kits have the same contents.

On the original DRAG Nano, the lanyard was limit to the first 500,000 devices, however the DRAG Nano 2 comes with the lanyard as standard.

Design & Build Quality

The Voopoo DRAG Nano 2 comes in a variety of 8 colours: 5 leather and 3 PC – all of which have a silver metal frame.

I received the Orange Leather.

VooPoo DRAG Nano 2 Battery Section

The Voopoo DRAG Nano 2 is as incredibly well built as the original.

As I have a leather version, I can’t comment on the PC colours.

However if they are anything like the leather they’re awesome.

There is a leather patch on either side. One side has the DRAG logo stamped into it which is fully size of the patch. The other side has a small Voopoo logo stamped into the bottom. Both patches have a border stamped in, are slightly padded and are really well stuck.

The USB-C charging port is on the bottom with the Gene Chip marking, the back in completely blank.

The top has the Pod port and lanyard/chain holes whole the front has the button, 3 led indicators and airflow control.

Obviously I’m not a major fan of USB ports being on the bottom of the device, so there is some loss of design points there.

The metal is shiny and the entire device is smooth.

DRAG Nano 2 Button

The Voopoo DRAG Nano 2 only has 1 button.

It’s a super small button, measuring at 4.5mm in diameter and it’s raised by about 1mm.
