I’m a high wattage vaper, usually hitting at over 120w, but what the Drag X could do with a 80W/60W PnP coil was incredible.

The question is, will the Drag X Plus be an upgrade or downgrade? Even more pressing, are the New TPP coils better then the incredibly popular PnP coils?

VooPoo is a US vape company that’s been around since 2010 but they didn’t really enter the vaping industry until 2016 when they acquired Woody Vapes (A US e-cigarette brand).

VooPoo hit big with the VooPoo Drag mod, but the market really started to pay attention when the Drag pod mod launched. With it they redefined what a pod mod is, completely blurring the line between what is a pod mod and what isn’t.

What To Expect From The VooPoo DRAG X Plus

This style and design of vape became extremely popular in 2020.

It is a kind of oval base with a flat front, a leather patch on the back with the screen, fire and power adjustment buttons on the front, accompanied by a USB-C port.

The Drag X Plus takes a 21700 battery (or 18650, with the included adapter), which is a very nice upgrade as it allows for more battery capacity. And As well as Now it is available again at the VAPORS PAKISTAN Last 

Like it’s older sibling, it has the Smart Mode and RBA Mode. And As well as Now it is available again at the VAPORS PAKISTAN Last

Which is the newer version but we have also seen that chip in the DRAG Max and the Voopoo DRAG 3.

And, new coils equals new pod.

The PnP pod tank was revolutionary and great but a lot of people pointed out one potentially major flaw, it had a built in mouth piece. The New TPP pod tank has a removable mouth piece and metal top… it still uses bottom fill though.

Design and Build Quality

The Drag X Plus looks very similar to the Drag X, as you may expect.

The kit comes in 5 different colours.

I have the Prussian Blue and I have to say, it is… silver. I was going to say shiny, but it’s more of a frosted shine.

The VooPoo DRAG X Plus Mod

The DRAG X Plus mod is extremely similar to the DRAG X Mod.

The shape of the mod is almost identical, with the oval like base and a padded leather patch on the back.

Drag X Plus Kit – The VooPoo DRAG X Plus Buttons

Because The Fire button is a classic DRAG style fire button, located towards the top of the mod.

The ‘+’/’-‘ buttons are towards the bottom of the mod, just above the USB-C port.

All the buttons are nicely place, not of them rattle and they are all nice to press.

So, There are 2 different screen layouts you can use with the VooPoo DRAG X Plus.

But In the top right is a battery indicator bar, with the ‘DRAG’ logo in the top left, then quite big below that is the Wattage and the mode (S/R).

Further down is the Puff counter, resistance, puff timer and a visual puff timer.

And The other layout is the landscape ‘Core Theme’, this theme looks, dare I say, like a futuristic dashboard.
